J Hartnett is back! And so is M. Night Shyamalan. "Trap" is a psychological thriller set to release August 9th, 2024. Starring M. Night's own daughter Saleka Shyamalan and the king of the early aughts, Josh Hartnett. The movie centers around a pop concert designed as a "trap" to catch the serial killer "The Butcher" (Hartnett), who is bringing his daughter to see singer The Raven (Saleka Shyamalan).

While this trailer gives away one classic Shyamalan twist by letting us know the "trap" is set for Hartnett, I'm certain more surprises are in store, as there often are when M. Night is writing and directing. Excited for this one - hopefully it can bring about the "Joshnaissance" that we all prayed for…no just me?
