The Djokovic Effect
With the world's #1 leaving Paris with a torn meniscus and some harsh words for officials about court conditions he feels caused them, we are left with just 8 remaining players (Jannik Sinner, the future #1 after Djokovic's departure, has also departed). So how does this impact this afternoon's match between Carlos Alcaraz (-425) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (+350)?
Well, with the open favorite leaving, I would suspect both Alcaraz and Tsitsipas have a bit more pep in their step, a bit more hope in their heart, and some more bounce in their balls. If you are Alcaraz, it is hard not to look ahead to Sinner, who awaits, and if you are Tsitsipas, no more Joker means "Why not you?" I think Alcaraz should still be able to handle business, but I believe Tsitsipas can take a set and keep it competitive. As fans, we should be in for a good match. I am targeting the total games in this match, and I like it to go over 35 games this afternoon.

Tsitsipas came out slow but showed promise in the 2nd set before falling 6-7 after that we were cooked. Get em next time
